DVS Legal Services Offers “A Path Forward”

DVS Legal Services is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing legal services to domestic violence survivors and families in need. Legal help for these families is often limited, and in many instances families are turned away because they either cannot afford representation, or their income disqualifies them for free assistance or their cases are considered too complex due to the nature of the violence or family dynamic.

At DVS we provide reduced-fee legal services, based on ability to pay. We work with survivors and families in need to assess the situation, ensure immediate access to important resources, and help provide a plan for transition to a safe and stable environment. We then work to help ensure any long-term legal needs are met, and help create a positive path forward.
